The energy transition is constrained by a fundamental mismatch between renewable energy production and demand, especially across seasons in residential energy systems.
Photoncycle addresses this challenge directly. We have developed an energy storage system that is powerful enough to store an entire season’s energy demand, and provides homes with both heat and electricity. By enabling predictable, year-round energy autonomy, our solution reduces reliance on the grid and supports a more resilient energy system.
Photoncycle is financed by venture capital, with Lifeline Ventures — one of the leading early-stage investors in the Nordics — as the largest external owner. Our technology is operational and ready to be industrialized.
